BRANDYN MICHAEL BLANDEL


 

 

BRANDYN MICHAEL BLANDEL, 26, of Spokane, WA, passed away on February 10, 2020.

He was born in Lapeer, on December 1, 1993. As a young boy, Brandyn earned his 2nd degree black belt in Karate. He attended North Branch High School and graduated from

Marysville High School in Port

Huron. He later attended Ohio

Technical College for two and a half years, where he learned the collision repair and welding trade.

Brandyn married Anne Lee and together, in 2017, they joined the United States Air Force. They were presently stationed in Spokane, WA, at the Fairchild Air Force Base. Brandyn was a talented young man who loved to draw and work on his Harley Davidson motorcycles. He loved life and had an optimistic approach to everything. He was always helping people and tried to better himself each and every day. Most of all, Brandyn enjoyed spending time with his family, who will all miss him deeply.

Brandyn is survived by his wife, Ann Blandel; mother, Cheri Blandel of North Branch; brothers, Anthony Schnettler, Andrew Blandel III and Norman Blandel; sisters, Patrina Schnettler and Katrina Keely; grandfather, Andrew Michael Blandel Sr.; niece, Searra McDaniel; nephews, Shay Sheets, Nathaniel Colon and Christopher Schnettler.

Brandyn was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Michael Blandel Jr.; grandmother, Margaret Blandel; grandfather, Richard Larsh; great-uncle, Joey Husken.

Memorial donations to the Wounded Warrior Project are appreciated.

Friends may visit with the Blandel family on Wednesday, February 19th from 2-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors – Capstick Chapel in Lapeer on Thursday, February 20th at 11 a.m. Pastor Ron Rouse will officiate. Brandyn will be laid to rest at Stiles Cemetery in Lapeer with full military honors.
