LAPEER — The Lapeer Community Theatre is set to present Anatomy of a Murder, directed by Pat Stiles, on May 6-7 and May 13-14 in the secondfloor courtroom of the historic county courthouse in downtown Lapeer.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at lapeercommunitytheatre.com. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show starting at 6:30 each night of the performance. Half of all ticket sales will be donated to the Friends of the Historic Courthouse to be applied toward maintenance efforts.

Anatomy of a Murder tells the story of Paul Biegler, who after being defeated for re-election as district attorney dreads the prospect of becoming a defense attorney. His first case is sensational, however, and develops into a high-stakes battle of wit and determination.
