Keep cut grass off roads
Cut grass on the road is not only apparently dangerous for motorcycle riders, but it also clogs up the drain basins so that water backs up when it rains. Whether you’re a homeowner or grass service, don’t be lazy and don’t blow grass onto roads.
Thank you.

Tall grass is safety issue
The grass is getting pretty tall along many roads. Homeowners need to cut the grass right up to the road because otherwise it becomes a safety issue because it’s hard to see vehicles at intersections and at the end of driveways.

Get help, if needed
The stereotype held against people who use medicine to cope with life’s ups and downs isn’t fair. There’s nothing wrong with getting help if it will improve your
quality of life.

We’re not all ‘crazy’
The mental health system in this country would actually work if society wasn’t so quick to paint everyone who walks through a clinic door as “crazy” or “broken.” That’s why people don’t want to step up, because even they’re own families will look at them differently.

Sprague ‘good’ for Lapeer
Mayor Sprague was a good mayor for Lapeer. He helped bring in medical marijuana to Lapeer and fought for it when others were piling on against it, even other city officials. Somebody needs to stand for the people, and Sprague did.

Ban hand-held phones
A woman struck my car yesterday because she was too busy looking at her stupid phone. She didn’t even apologize. There needs to be a law to ban handheld phone use by drivers. This is absolutely ridiculous.
