Lapeer-area women ‘empowered’ during event at Karmanos Cancer Institute

Best friends Donna Fox and Regina Starr visited the Empowered You event on Thursday, which was an evening devoted to women and health. Cindy Palmeter, a child birth educator, volunteer Alissa Palmeter, and lactation counselor Jennifer Roberts RN, from the Birthing Center, and Ramona Andrei MD, of Lapeer Women’s Health, were among the many resources available at Empowered You.
