TV Weekly arrives today!


Wes Smith–Publisher Wes Smith–Publisher Today marks the first FREE issue of TV Weekly for our County Press readers!

As I wrote last week, the free sample period, which will run for four weeks, is the beginning of our switch from our current TV Plus product to the TV Weekly.

There are a number of reasons behind our switch, one of the most important being that we are always on the search for new and better ways to serve our readers. When I met the TV Weekly team at this year’s Michigan Press Association convention I was pleased to hear about their great product and more importantly, their many successful newspaper partnerships across the United States. When I brought their information back to the team here at View Newspaper Group it become clear that partnering with country’s leading localized television magazine, TV Weekly, is the best way to keep you connected to your favorite programming and plan your viewing.

That’s because when it comes to television programming, there have never been so many options. There are more than 1,500 new programs, including 400 scripted shows available today. In contrast, the industry touted just 86 new scripted shows a decade ago, a figure that was unprecedented at the time.
