Free diabetes education class to be held in October

METAMORA TWP. — A free comprehensive diabetes education class taught by RNs (previously with the Loving Hands Clinic) will be held in Metamora Township.

The class will be held at the McLaren Community Medical Center, 809 W. Dryden Rd., in the facility’s

Community Classroom. The Community Medical Center is off M-24 (behind the Rite Aid Pharmacy).

This series of classes is open to all pre-diabetics, diabetics, and their families and friends. No registration needed.

The class will be taught in five sessions from 10 a.m. to noon on the following mornings: Oct. 1, Oct. 3, Oct. 8, Oct. 10 and Oct. 15. Each session is devoted to a topic related to diabetes management and care.
