Sentenced

The following sentences were administered by 40th Circuit Court Judge Nick O. Holowka

• James T. Skaggs, 54, of Linden, was sentenced June 4 to 18 months to five years in prison, with credit for 52 days served, after pleading guilty April 13 to operating under the influence of liquor, third offense. Skaggs was ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution, repay $375 in attorney’s fees and pay $1,718 in fines and court costs.

• David A. Sheer, 46, a prisoner at Thumb Correctional Facility in Lapeer, was sentenced June 4 to 14 months to seven years, six months in prison after pleading guilty April 17 to furnishing a cell phone in prison. The court also found him guilty of habitual offender, second conviction. Sheer was ordered to repay $355 in attorney’s fees and pay $698 in fines and court costs.

• Larry L. Androsuk, 25, of Warren was sentenced June 4 to three to 15 years in prison, with credit for 40 days served, after pleading guilty April 24 to second-degree home invasion. Androsuk was ordered to repay $315 in attorney’s fees and pay $698 in fines and court costs.
