Congratulations to the Class of 2018

With 20:18 on the clock, Dryden Junior/Senior High School Class of 2018 released 52 balloons with their class colors of white, purple and black into the afternoon sky Thursday. They held their baccalaureate service in the high school gym Thursday night and they’ll be back for their graduation ceremony at noon today (Sunday) in the gym, followed by an all-night party.

The paper includes a special Graduation 2018 section that includes top academic achievers from each of the high schools that serve Lapeer County residents, as well as from the Lapeer County Education and Technology Center in Attica Township, operated by the Lapeer County Intermediate School District.

The keepsake Graduation 2018 section also includes the names of all graduates from the respective schools. The only exception is a list of graduates from Lapeer Community High School as they won’t be available until Monday. The County Press will publish the Class of 2018 graduates from Lapeer Community High School in a subsequent edition.

In today’s INSIGHT we continue the celebration of Lapeer County’s Class of 2018 graduates by sharing comments offered by school district officials as they wish their graduates well upon completion of their local K-12 school career.
