MICHELLE RENE MILK-MLECSKO, 60, a resident of Oxford, passed away May 13, 2018.

She was born in Big Rapids, on April 25, 1958. Michelle was a graduate of Lapeer West High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University. She retired in 2013 from Rolland Warner Middle School after passionately teaching for the Lapeer Community Schools for 33 years.

A loving wife, mother, nana, cousin, friend and teacher, Michelle touched and influenced many lives.

Her love for life is evidenced by the many friends that she had come to know throughout her life. She enjoyed traveling and entertaining, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Her passion for cooking and baking was something she took pride in and enjoyed sharing with others.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Milk- Mlecsko; three sons, Bryan (Mandy) Stonerock, Scott Stonerock, and Timothy (Alexis Haan) Stonerock; step-daughter, Allison (Brian) Castine; grandchildren, Evelyn Maye, Paetyn and Morgan; brothers, Michael Wood and Matthew Wood; aunt, Cathy Connolly; cousins, Kim (Wes) Key, Scott (Amy) Connolly and Laurie (Jeff) Miller.

Michelle was preceded in death by her loving parents, Richard and Roberta Wood, sister, Maureen Klage; and uncle, Denny Connolly.

Memorial donations to American Cancer Society are appreciated.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Louise Chapel, 3477 S Lapeer Rd; Metamora, Michigan 48455. Interment is at Mt. Loretto Cemetery in Lapeer. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday from 1-8 p.m. A Rosary Service will be prayed on Thursday at 7 p.m.
