BRIAN ANDREW GARMAN, 28, a lifetime Lapeer resident, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018.

Brian was born in Lapeer, on August 10, 1989, to Andrew and Machelle (Thorp) Garman. He graduated from Lapeer High School, class of 2008. Brian a was gifted cook and through the years worked at several Lapeer restaurants including: Apple Tree, Detroit Burger Bar, Hungry Dan’s and the Farm House. Outside of work, Brian loved to watch any of the Detroit sports teams, but absolutely LOVED his Denver Broncos. He also loved to watch wrestling. Brian was a passionate music fan – his favorite band was ICP. He loved live concerts and loved attending the “Gathering of the Juggalos”. Above everything, Brian loved his daughter Mariah Christine.

Brian is survived by his wife, Tiffany; his daughter, Mariah Christine Garman; parents, Andy and Machelle Garman of Lapeer; sister, Amanda Garman of Lapeer; grandparents, Frank Garman of Lapeer, Allen and Marilyn Thorp of Mayville; mother and father in-law, Dawn and Lewis Robertson of Imlay City; brothers-in-law, Chris Ort, Lewis (Heather) Robertson and Johnny (Meaghan) Robertson; nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Brianna, Trenton and Dominic; aunts and uncles, Laura and Dalton Pringle, Allen Thorp, Renee Thorp, Debra and Wayne Wesenick; cousins, Kristin, Chadd (Libby), Brad, Amber, Allen III and LaRissa.

Brian was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marilyn Garman; Aunt Connie Jackson, Uncle David Jackson, Uncle Brian L. Garman, and Kyle Jackson.

Brian’s funeral service was held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. In keeping with Brian’s wishes, cremation will follow his funeral service.
