Man, 27, dies after seizure

LAPEER — Lapeer Police are trying to figure out what killed a 27-year-old Suzanne Drive man Tuesday (Feb. 6) morning.

Det./Sgt. Craig Gormley said police were sent to an apartment at Drakeshire Apartments at 6:20 a.m. following reports of man who had been recently released from medical care was having a seizure.

Gormley said police found Jacob S. Krummel not breathing, while an EMS crew was trying to revive him. Their efforts were unsuccessful.

Krummel was taken to McLaren Lapeer Region where an autopsy was scheduled and toxicology reports are pending.
