TEAL, SR., 65, of

Imlay City, died

Thomas Loren Teal was born March 27, 1952, in Almont. He is the son of the late Edward and the late Lillie Mae (Newbold) Teal. Tom has lived most of his life in Imlay City. He is a 1970 graduate of Imlay City High School. He married Julie Eileen Ihrke on October 14, 1987 in Lapeer.

Tom was employed at Koyl Company as a screw machine operator making bolts for auto parts. He retired in 2007. He was a member of the Imlay City Eagles. Tom always enjoyed riding motorcycles and especially loved going fishing with his family.

Tom is survived by his wife, Julie Teal; three daughters, Erika (Jeffrey) Weberman of Sterling Heights, Ivonne (Joseph) Bigger of Leonard and Ashley (Steven) Thomas of Capac; one son, Thomas L (Laura) Teal, Jr. of Shelby Twp.; two sisters, Doris Teal of Lapeer and Judy (Don) Hunt of North Branch; brothers, Roger (Geraldine) Newbold of Georgia, Gary (Diane) Teal of Colorado, James (Betty) Teal of Marlette and Larry (Chris) Teal of West Branch; and nine grandchildren, Samantha Teal, Faith (Judah) Davidson, Boaz Teal, Abigail Weberman, Justin Weberman, Madison Bigger, Makenzie Bigger, Macaylah Bigger and Sophia Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Lillie Teal; and his infant sister, Lora Teal.

The funeral was held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City. Interment followed at Imlay Township Cemetery.
