LINDA L. FEYS, 72, of Almont, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at United Hospice Service in Marlette.

Linda Louis Washburn was born February 19, 1945, in Baraboo, WI. She was the daughter of Franklin and Evelyn Washburn. She moved to Armada at the age of 5. She graduated from Armada High School. Linda was married to Bob Feys in 1961. Linda worked many jobs through the years. Her favorite was Country Corner of Almont. She loved her job in the produce department and all the customers. She went on to have her own store that specialized in Fruit & Gift Baskets. She loved playing softball and loved spending time with her nine grandchildren. She especially liked their little piece of heaven in Caseville, which the whole family and friends enjoyed. She also had a passion for volunteering at United Hospice Service of Marlette.

She is survived by three sons, Robert (Christine) Feys, Jr. of Dryden, Ryan (Heather) Feys of Metamora, Ritchie (Liz) Feys of Imlay City; her grandchildren, Mandy, Josh, Tyler, Jason, Terra, Emily, Brendan, Haley and Hannah; and her three great-grandchildren, Landon, Easton and Ava; and her very best friend Vickie Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Feys in 2010; sister, Barbara in 2010; and her parents.

The family has requested no flowers, but instead donations to United Hospice of Marlette in memory of Linda Feys. United Hospice Service Residence, 2770 Main Street, P.O. Box 307, Marlette, MI 48453.

Linda has requested no funeral service or viewing, just a celebration of life luncheon that will be held on Sunday February 11, at 1 p.m., at the Almont Lions Hall, 222 Water Street, Almont.
