Their purpose is to educate and entertain their audience and share fun facts about the animals they bring, including unusual characteristics, habits, and mannerisms of each species.

The experienced animal handlers will discuss the senses these animals have, and the unique defense mechanisms they need to use for survival when living in their natural habitats. The program will discuss species of endangered and threatened animals and the very real threat of extinction. Exotic Zoo will also discuss what “going green” means and how reducing pollution and protecting the rainforest are essential to protecting our animals as well as ourselves. There will be a special question and answer period after the show, so audience members can find out about each of the special guests — the animals.

“This show is guaranteed to be fun for the whole family, especially if you are animal lovers,” said Center for the Arts Communications Director Katie Beth Chrismer. “There is no charge for admittance to the family fun series shows, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors.” It is recommended to call or stop by to reserve tickets in advance. Seating is limited.

To reserve tickets, please visit the PIX Box Office located inside Gallery 194, Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tickets may also be reserved over the phone at 810-664- 4824 or on the website www.centerfortheartslapeer.org.
