Dryden dropped to 1-2 on the season following last week’s 68-36 loss to Lawrence and Morrice topped Burton Madison on the road 50-0 to move to 3-0 on the season.

Dryden is 2-5 all-time against Morrice, not having won over the Orioles since 2011. Since then, Morrice has dominated the match-up between the two teams, recently winning 44-26 last season and 69-6 in 2015.

Now, with quarterback Sam Peyerk out for the season and sophomore Dalton Raymond under center for what will be his second-ever varsity start, Dryden’s youth will be put to the test if they are to avoid a 1-3 start to the season through four-straight home games.

“They’re going to be a tough team,” said Dryden coach Al Hutchinson. “They run a high-powered offense and are well coached and disciplined. We’re going to have our hands full and will have to improve a lot from last week.”

Kick off is Friday at 7 p.m. at Dryden High School and it's Parent's Night.
