“ROBBIE” COENEN,

58, of Kingston, died

Wednesday, July 12,

2017 at home.

Roberta Jean Komor was born September 6, 1958, in Detroit. She is the daughter of Donald and Minta E. (Polchlopek) Komor. She grew up in Southfield and is a high school graduate.

She married Scott Lawrence Coenen on April 9, 1998 in Lapeer. They have lived in the Kingston area for 19 years.

Robbie was employed as a material handler at Toyo Seat for 15+ years. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren.

Robbie is survived by her husband, Scott Coenen; two step-daughters, Kari (Aaron) Melnik of Ubly and Brooke (Dan) Weltin of Bad Axe; five grandchildren, Kendal Doss, Kayla Doss, Rebecca Doss, Hunter Melnik and Brynley Weltin; her siblings, Donald Komor, Deborah (Robert) Dzledzic, Lorraine Mlynczyk, Sandra (Glenn) Purvin, Michael (Lisa) Komor, Todd Komor, Minta (Chris) DeHaan; sister-in-law, Colleen (Robb) Rider; brother-in-law, Gary Coenen; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Minta Komor; her son, Dale Doss; and her niece, Samantha Komor.

The funeral will be held 1 p.m., Monday, July 17, 2017 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City. Pastor Chad Hampton with Goodland Community Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Imlay Township Cemetery.

The family will be available for visitation 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Monday, July 18, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
