Quilt Guild supports Seven Ponds



The Thimble Buddies Quilt Guild on Thursday donated a queen-size quilt they made to Darryl Bernard, executive director of Seven Ponds Nature Center in Dryden Township and Senta Rohn (president of the Stingers Bee Club) at the center. The quilt will be raffled during the Heritage Harvest Days at Seven Ponds on Sept. 16-17. Gathered at Lapeer Church of Christ for the donation were (left to right): Darryl Bernard, Peggy Montney, Lorraine Wheatley, Sharon Taylor, Jean Kent, Pat Elliott and Senta Rohn.
