‘Knowledge is Power’



More than 450 students at Turrill Elementary School in Lapeer enjoyed a staging of DTE Energy’s “Knowledge is Power” educational play. “It really helps educate kids on wind and solar energy and about career opportunities in the industry,” said the play’s writer Lisa Bower. “Not only do we need engineers and scientists and technicians but we need artists that think like engineers and engineers that think like artists.”
