TEDESCO, 88, of

Lapeer, died Thursday,

March 16, 2017.

Mrs. Tedesco was born October 28, 1928, in Scranton, PA, to Julius and Julia (Drazba) Motzki. She married Joseph J. Tedesco on June 5, 1948 in Wyoming, PA. Mr. and Mrs. Tedesco were members of Immaculate Conception Church in Lapeer since 1999. Dolores enjoyed antiquing, playing cards with family and friends, and listening to and singing music with loved ones. Mrs. Tedesco also loved family gatherings, was an excellent bowler “in her day”, and was an excellent cook! She never got her driver’s license, but managed to get around wherever she needed.

Mrs. Tedesco is survived by her sons, Alan (Jane) Tedesco of Lapeer, Gary (Theresa) Tedesco of Macomb Township and Ronald (Kathleen) Tedesco of Sterling Heights; grandchildren, Rhonda (Chris), Ryan (Kim), Rochelle (David), Joseph, Rosalia, Reene, Erica and Nicolas; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Tyler, Marissa, Austin, Samantha, Catherine, Christina and Claire; siblings, Mary Ann (Dino) Luperi of Allentown, PA, and Leonard (Madeline) Motzki of West Wyoming, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Tedesco; grandson, Jimmy Tedesco; daughter-in-law, Beverly Tedesco; her parents, Julius and Julia Motzki; and sisters, Eleanor (Stanley) Ostroskie and Leona (Ed) Urbanski.

Visitation will be Noon-5 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. Mrs. Tedesco’s funeral mass will be 11 a.m., Monday, March 20, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Church in Lapeer. Father Raymond Arwady will officiate. The family will also receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church, Monday morning at Immaculate Conception Church, 814 West Nepessing Street, Lapeer, Michigan 48446. Burial will take place, at a later date, in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
