Engineering Council names ROWE Firm of the Year

LAPEER —The American Council of Engineering Companies of Michigan (ACEC/M) named ROWE Professional Services Company its Member Firm of the Year during a ceremony March 11 at The Fillmore in Detroit.

Judging for the award is done by professionals outside the state. Companies are judged on their endeavors during the past two years. ROWE was chosen based on the following criteria.

Contributions to the success and growth of ACEC/M, which includes staff serving on the council’s board and six committees, and acting as a liaison between ACEC/M and three other industry organizations.

Efforts to advance the consulting design profession, which include staff publishing industry-specific articles and presenting information to several professional and non-professional groups.

Community involvement, which includes donating to, or volunteering for, approximately 175 community causes annually.

This is the second time in 10 years ROWE was named Member Firm of the Year.

ACEC/M is a 61-year-old organization with nearly 100 member firms representing more than 5,000 employees across the state. Its purpose is to assist members with achieving higher professional, business, and economic standards, thus enabling them to provide better engineering services in the interest of their clients.
