Domestic incidents

LAPEER — The Lapeer Police Dept. arrested a 46-year-old woman for domestic violence Sunday Feb. 22 following an incident at a Knollwood Drive residence. She was taken to the Lapeer County Jail.

• The Imlay City Police Dept. was sent to a West Fourth Street residence in Imlay City Sunday following reports of a domestic incident. Police found two brothers arguing. No arrests were made.

• Michigan State Police were sent to a South Elba Road residence Sunday following reports of a domestic incident. Police said the woman’s boyfriend packed up his things and moved out. No arrests were made.

• The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. arrested a man for domestic violence Sunday following an incident at a Clark Road residence in Lapeer Township. He was taken to the Lapeer County Jail.

• The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. was sent to an Attica Road residence in Imlay Township on Thursday, Feb. 19 following reports of a domestic incident. The man involved left for the night. No arrests were made.

• A South Lapeer Road resident in Metamora Township told the Lapeer Police Dept. Thursday that a man hit and pushed his father before leaving on foot.

• A Village West Drive woman told the Lapeer Police Dept. Thursday that her ex-boyfriend forced his way into her home; pushed her around; took some things that didn’t belong to him; threw other things on the floor; knocked her down and left.

• The Lapeer Police Dept. was sent to a Charbridge Avenue residence Thursday following reports of a domestic incident between a woman and her 17-yearold daughter. No arrests were made.

Alcohol arrests

LAPEER TWP. — Michigan State Police arrested a 44-year-old man Sunday for drunken driving following a traffic stop on Wilder Road near westbound I-69. He was taken to the Lapeer County Jail and his vehicle was impounded.

• The Imlay City Police Dept. arrested a 35-year-old man Sunday for drunken driving following a traffic stop on westbound I-69 near South Van Dyke Road. He was taken to the Lapeer County Jail and his vehicle was impounded.

• The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. arrested a 30-year-old man for drunken driving Sunday following a traffic stop on Fish Lake Road near Gravel Creek Road in Deerfield Township. He was taken to the Lapeer County Jail and his vehicle was impounded.

• The Almont Police Dept. arrested a motorist for drunken driving Friday, Feb. 20 following a traffic stop on South Van Dyke Road near Hough Road in Almont Township. Police impounded the vehicle.

• The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. arrested a woman Friday for drunken driving following a traffic stop on Brookshire Drive in Mayfield Township. The woman was taken to the Lapeer County Jail and later moved to the emergency room at McLaren Lapeer Region. Her vehicle was impounded.

Vehicle crash

DEERFIELD TWP. — The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. is investigating a two-vehicle collision reported Sunday at the corner of Burnside Road and Cobblestone Drive. Police said the motorists refused medical attention at the scene.

Home invasion ends in shotgun threat

ATTICA TWP. — An East Newark Road man told the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. Sunday that three young men walked into his house and threatened his nephew. He said he went to one of the assailant’s home to speak to their parents, but the youth’s father threatened him with a shotgun.
