Man arrested after stealing gas; busted on warrant

LAPEER — After a clerk at the Sunoco gas station on North Main Street told the Lapeer Police Dept. Friday that a customer had driven off without paying for their fuel, police found the vehicle at The Pines of Lapeer. Police also found that the 29-year-old man with the vehicle was being sought in Tuscola County on a child neglect warrant. He was taken to the Lapeer County Jail.
