Caboose gets new home


Construction is underway on a building that will encase the 1895 Grand Trunk caboose that was recently purchased by Mark and Kate Lundy, who run the Roadside Attractions shop on M-24 in Metamora Township. The caboose will be restored as a project by the Lundys’ 9-year-old son Alex. Once restored, the caboose will be a museum about local railroad history.
