76, of Elmira, Michigan, formerly of Lapeer, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Dick was born March 23, 1936, in Lapeer, to Earl Laverne "Jimmy" and Jane (Eastman) June. He married Jeaneen Gwinn in September of 1956, in Lapeer.

Mr. June was a loan officer for Lapeer County Bank and Trust, retiring after almost 43 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, gardening (big time!), playing bridge and cribbage. Mr. and Mrs. June attended Trinity United Methodist Church when they lived in Lapeer.

Dick is survived by his wife, Jeaneen June of Elmira, Michigan; daughter, Amy June of Lapeer; and sister-inlaw, Sharon (Odalovich) June of Davison.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Polly June Meyer; parents, Jimmy and Jane June; and brother, Ted June.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Gillian Barre Association.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lapeer, Michigan. The family will greet friend 1/2 hour prior to the graveside service, at the cemetery.
