NEIL WALTER WALDRON,
82, passed away at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at home surrounded by family. Neil Walter Waldron was born on October 6, 1929, in Flint, the son of the late Carl Walter and Naomi Katherine (Melancon) Waldron. He graduated from Flint Technical High School, class of 1948.
He was married to his late wife, Joan (Creech) Waldron, for 50 years. He worked most of his life as an Appliance Repairman and owned All Appliance Service. He lived a long, full life enjoying many things and above all spending time with his family and his work. He enjoyed Bingo and going to the casino.
He is survived by his sister, Lois (Jack) Perry of Fenton; children, Rex (Roberta) Thomas of Flint, Frederick (Mae) Waldron of Mount Morris, Nanette (Mike) Shustock of Montrose, Calvin Waldron of Flint, Marty (Wilma) Erskine of Bad Axe, Jeff (Felice) Erskine of Flint, Diane (Brian) Bleau of Oscoda, John (Tracey) Waldron of Silverwood; 55 grandchildren; 58 greatgrandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several foster grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Waldron; daughter, Marie (Gary) Whitney; grandchildren, Laura Waldron, Logan Waldron, Lisa Thomas Westbrook; and great-grandson, Timothy Shustock.
A funeral service was held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City. Chaplain Gene Smith officiated. Burial followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dryden.
