Man arrested

LAPEER — The Lapeer Police Dept. took a 20-year-old man into custody Feb. 13 on an unspecified warrant at a Jacqualyn Drive residence and took him to the Lapeer County Jail.

Felony warrant

METAMORA TWP. — The Metamora Township Police Dept. took a man into custody Feb. 13 at a South Lapeer Road residence on a felony warrant. He was taken to the Lapeer County Jail.

Probation violation

LAPEER — The Lapeer Police Dept. took a 29-year-old man into custody Feb. 14 at an East Genesee residence on a probation violation warrant. He was taken to the Lapeer County Jail.

Warrant arrests

IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City Police Dept. took a 40-year-old man into custody Feb. 15 at a Townsend Drive home. He was being sought on felony and misdemeanor warrants and was taken to the Lapeer County Court lockup.

Home burglarized


MARATHON TWP. — A LeValley Road resident told Michigan State Police Feb. 15 that several items were taken from their home. There is a suspect.

In police custody

ELBA TWP. — Michigan State Police took a 19-year-old man into custody Feb. 15 following a traffic stop on westbound I-69 near Lake Nepessing Road. The man was being sought on unspecified warrants from the city of Lapeer and Lapeer County. He was taken to the Lapeer County Court lockup.

Prisoner pickup

PORT HURON — The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. picked up a 22- year-old man Feb. 14 wanted on a Lapeer County misdemeanor warrant at the St. Clair County Jail and took him to the Lapeer County Jail.

Jail vandalized

LAPEER —The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. Feb. reported Feb. 14 that vandals damaged county property at the Lapeer County Jail on John Conley Drive.

Warrant arrest

IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City Police Dept. took an unidentified man to the Lapeer County Jail on unspecified warrants Feb. 14 following a harassment complaint near the corner of South Almont Avenue and West Third Street.

Drunk driver

ROMEO — The Almont Police Dept. cited a 25-year-old man with drunk driving Feb. 14 following a traffic stop on South Lapeer Road near Kidder Road.

Stopped, arrested

DEERFIELD TWP. — The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. cited a man with drunk driving Feb. 15 following a traffic

stop on West Burnside Road. He was taken to the Lapeer County Jail and his vehicle was impounded.

A short ride

LAPEER — Michigan State Police took a 25- year-old man into custody Feb. 15 at Lapeer Industries on John Conley Drive on an unspecified warrant and took him across the street to the Lapeer County Jail.

Teen arrested

ARCADIA TWP. — The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. took an 18-year-old man into custody Feb. 15 at a Lum Road residence. The man, sought on a Lapeer city misdemeanor warrant, was taken to the Lapeer County Jail.

Misdemeanor arrests

MAYFIELD TWP. — The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. took an 21-year-old man into custody Feb. 15 at an East Sawdust Corners Road residence. The man, sought on two Dryden Township misdemeanor warrants, was taken to the Lapeer County Jail.
