Woman arrested
METAMORA TWP. — Michigan State Police took a 32-year-old woman into custody Feb. 9 on a misdemeanor warrant from White Lake Township following a traffic stop on South Lapeer Road near West Dryden Road. They turned her over to authorities in White Lake Township.
Home burglarized
GOODLAND TWP. — The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. discovered Feb. 10 that a Norman Road home had been burglarized. A real estate agent told police the homeowner had moved out and they were unable to contact him.
Released on bond
IMLAY TWP. — The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. took a 40-year-old man into custody Feb. 10 on an unspecified Macomb County warrant following a traffic stop on West Imlay City Road near Summers Road. The man was released after posting an unspecified bond.
Suspended license
ELBA TWP. — The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. took an unidentified person into custody on a warrant charging them with driving while license suspended Feb. 9 following a traffic stop on South Elba Road. The person was taken to the court lockup.
ORV complaint
LAPEER — An East Oregon Street resident told the Lapeer Police Dept. on Feb. 9 that someone was operating an ORV near East Nepessing Street. Polices found the four-wheeler and discovered the operator was being sought on unspecified warrants. The person was informed of the outstanding warrants and released.
Checks stolen
IMLAY TWP. — A Reynolds Drive resident told the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. Feb. 9 that thieves stole and cashed some checks.
Bad deal
LAPEER — A Jacqualyn Drive woman told the Lapeer Police Dept. Feb. 9 that she sold a dryer on Craig’s List and now the buyer is harassing her.
Vehicle impounded
MAYFIELD TWP. — The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. impounded a vehicle Feb. 9 after citing the 36-year-old driver with driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on North Lapeer Road near West Sawdust Corners Road.
Stopped, arrested
MAYFIELD TWP. — Michigan State Police took a man into custody Feb. 9 on a misdemeanor warrant following a traffic stop on North Lapeer Road near Suppi Drive. He was taken to the Lapeer County Jail.
Woman harassed
IMLAY TWP. — A Rider Road woman told the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. Feb. 9 that her ex-husband, who lives with her, was harassing her.
Car wash cleaned out
NORTH BRANCH TWP. — A spokesman for the self-serve car wash on North Branch Road told the North Branch Police Dept. Feb. 10 that thieves took roughly $300 in coins and cash.

• The Metamora Township Police Dept. cited a 48-year-old woman with drunk driving Feb. 10 following traffic stop on Lapeer Road near Thomas Road following a hit and run accident in Oakland County. She was taken to the Lapeer County Jail. • The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. cited a 45- year-old woman with drunk driving Feb. 10 following a traffic stop on Imlay City Road in Lapeer Township. She was taken to the Lapeer County Jail and her vehicle was impounded. • The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. cited a 63- year-old man with drunk driving Feb. 10 following a traffic stop on Fish Lake Road near Scott Road in Deerfield Township. • The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. cited a 48- year-old man with drunk driving Feb. 10 following a traffic stop on Lake Pleasant Road near Kings Mill Road in Attica Township. • The Lapeer Police Dept. cited a 43-year-old woman with drunk driving Feb. 11 following a traffic stop on West Park Street near North Madison Street in Lapeer. She was taken to the Lapeer County Jail. • The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. cited a 29- year-old man with drunk driving Feb. 11 following a traffic stop on Belle River Road near South Summers Road in Attica Township. He was taken to the Lapeer County Jail and his vehicle was impounded. • The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. cited a 47- year-old woman with drunk driving Feb. 12 following a vandalism incident on Jones Road in North Branch Township. The woman was taken to the Lapeer County Jail and her vehicle was impounded. • The Imlay City Police Dept. cited a 27- year-old man with drunk driving Feb. 12 following a traffic stop on Newark Road. His vehicle was impounded. • Police cited an unidentified man with drunk driving Feb. 12 after he reportedly rolled his vehicle on Myers Road in Lapeer Township.
