Loud kids

LAPEER — An anonymous caller told the Lapeer Police Dept. on June 20 that a group of teen boys and girls were yelling and screaming in Mount Hope Cemetery near the corner of Jackson and Adams streets.

Teen kicks door

LAPEER — A Turrill Avenue woman told the Lapeer Police Dept. on June 20 that a 13-year-old boy was kicking her car door. She said he was mad because she had told on him for ringing door bells earlier.

ORV complaint

ATTICA TWP. — An Imlay City Road man told the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. June 20 that a man was riding a quad on the road without a helmet.

Abandoned car

LAPEER — A West Oregon Road man told Lapeer City Police June 20 that someone left a bluishgray Oldsmobile four-door on Golfside Drive four days earlier with the windows open. He added he found a syringe in his yard.

Car damaged

DEERFIELD TWP. — A Huckleberry Circle woman told the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. June 20 that thieves tried to break into her car about a week ago.

Watercraft woes

ELBA TWP. — An Island Pointe Drive woman told the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. June 20 that she’s having an ongoing problem with a Lake Lapeer Drive family. She said the family is allowing an 8-year-old to operate a personal watercraft with a 3-year-old onboard. She said the youngster is going too fast and coming too close to swim rafts and other boats. Police got no answer at the door.
