Jim McQueen Jim McQueen Wine tasting to celebrate McQueen Financial’s new office

LAPEER — To celebrate its new location, McQueen Financial will host a wine tasting open to the public on Friday, June 10 at 6 p.m. at its office, 897 Baldwin Rd. Suite C in Lapeer. McQueen Financial relocated earlier this year to a more visible location and wants local people to feel welcome to stop in with any financial question.

“The wine tasting will be a great way to socialize with new and old friends and we hope everyone will feel welcome to come and enjoy,” said Jim McQueen, owner of McQueen Financial. Wine selections are being provided by sommelier Dean Rondy, owner of Oxford Wine and Beverage.

McQueen Financial is dedicated to providing investment solutions for their clients’ needs. They believe this is best served through direct meetings face to face which is why they believe being involved in the community is the best first step. McQueen said, “People like to do business with someone they trust. It just makes sense that people want to know you before trusting you to protect their financial future. I hope people take advantage of our grand opening to get to know me a little better.”

McQueen is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Lapeer, a former board member of the Lapeer Downtown Business Association, and has sat on numerous other boards to improve the community. His favorite topic is why he chooses to run his practice in Lapeer. He commented, “Lapeer is the perfect place to live. You have all the amenities any city could ask for and you still get to know your neighbors.”
