Magdalena Wojcicki

Magdalena Wojcicki, 91, of Lapeer (formerly of Clinton Twp. and Detroit) passed away Monday (November 2, 2009).

She was born January 3, 1918, in Tczew, Poland, to Max and Agnes (Rutkowski) Wieczorek. She married Stanley Wojcicki on June 10, 1945 in Poland.

Magdalena worked as a sales associate for the J.L. Hudson Company for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Magdalena was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Dianne (Jack) Johnson of Lapeer; son, Andrew Wojcicki of Macomb; grandchildren, Dr. Todd (Amber) Johnson of Kalamazoo, Jason (Shannon) Johnson of Bloomfield and Dayna (Roman) Barrett of Royal Oak; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Claire.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Wojcicki; her parents; 5 brothers and 7 sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church – St. Vincent DePaul.

Visitation will take place 3-9 p.m., Wednesday (November 4, 2009) at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday (November 5, 2009) at Immaculate Conception Church, Lapeer. Father Aaron Depeyster will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
