     93, a resident of Dryden, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012. She was born on November 16, 1918, in Detroit. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Hadley for 72 years. Together they resided in Dryden for 63 years.

GORDON HARLEY SLATER,
     86, a lifetime Lapeer resident, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012. He was born April 3, 1926, in St. Johns, MI, son to Harley and Merle (Parr) Slater. Gordon graduated from Lapeer High School, class of 1944. Upon graduation, Gordon enlisted in the US Marines and served proudly during WWII. Gordon married Cathryn Ann Lubin on July 23, 1949 in Lapeer.

     84, of Melbourne Beach, FL, entered into Eternal Life on Monday, May 7, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 14, 1927, in Reading, MI, daughter to Victor and Leora Richardson. She graduated from Lapeer High School. On August 5, 1948 she married Stewart Castle.

     54, of Millington, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. Laura was born March 11, 1958, in Lapeer, the daughter of Ralph and JoAnn Stevens. She later married Elvin Garrett. Laura worked for the State of Michigan DHS office and enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, Nascar, and visiting the casino.

     84, of Brown City died Monday, April 30, 2012, in Sandusky. Louise was born December 14, 1927, in Lapeer, the daughter of the late George and Leah Foe. She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved playing bingo, crossword puzzles, doing scenic puzzles and driving the countryside. She was a member of Believer’s Fellowship Church in Lapeer.

     68, of Brown City, previously of Sterling Heights, returned home Monday, May 14, 2012 at home. Richard George Wiedling was born October 3, 1943, in Dearborn, the son of Raymond and Gertrude Wiedling. He grew up in Dearborn and graduated from St. Mary's High School in Dearborn. He married Pamela Christina Combs on April 5, 1991, in Sterling Heights.

     Timothy Tatarsky, 56, of Metamora, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Lapeer McLaren Hospital. Timothy loved Jesus, boating, and Elvis. He was an avid weight lifter and enjoyed cheering on the local Detroit sports teams.

     90, died Saturday, May 12, 2012. Mrs. Wadley was born September 21, 1921, in Arkansas, daughter to Elijah and Rosie (Butts) Hardin. Ola married William A. Wadley. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Lapeer. Ola lived at Riverview Towers for over 25 years, she enjoyed her many friends there.

STANLEY “MR.O” OSTRANDER, SR.
     76, a lifetime Lapeer resident, died Friday, May 11, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family. “Stan” was born February 17, 1936, in Lennon, son to Howard and Alice (Hampsey) Ostrander. Mr. Ostrander married Mary Margaret Quade, on February 26, 1954, in Lapeer.
